UK Customers Learn More about Prodware

20 June 2013

Thursday 20th June, 2013. Prodware UK Customer Day – Hotel La Tour, Birmingham

Today was the first annual event held by Prodware in the UK. It was an opportunity for UK customers, gained through acquisition of Qurius UK in 2012, to hear more about the company, its capabilities, products, services and ambitions. There was also an opportunity for customers to hear more about partner products and developments, such as Microsoft, Tegos and AGR.

The event was opened by UK Managing Director Mark Cockings, who highlighted the year that has been and how this has affected business in the UK market. This was followed by a presentation by Alain Conrard, CEO of the Prodware Group. Alain talked about the company and how it has grown to be one of the world’s largest solution providers for the large and mid-range IT solutions market, particularly in French-speaking territories. He also presented Prodware’s strategy for growth in the UK and Germany in particular, which are identified as being strategically important for Prodware’s future.

Andrew Wyld, the Microsoft Dynamics ERP Product Marketing Manager delivered a fascinating presentation giving the delegates an insight into the evolution of Microsoft’s strategy including new devices, software and services and how this underpins their strategy for Microsoft Dynamics over the coming years. This led into a post-lunch series of breakout sessions allowing customers to see presentations on topics relevant to their markets, systems and specific operational requirements and objectives.

Mark Breeden, Prodware UK’s Sales and Marketing Director, said, “This was an important day for us and our customers. The future is very exciting in terms of the broad range of technical advancements from which our customers can achieve some very real benefits. We were keen to present these developments, as well as the on-going strategy of Prodware, to ensure that customers are fully aware of the exciting future on offer as part of the Prodware family.”

In conclusion, Mark Cockings said, “Feedback from customers and partners on the day has been very positive. We have presented our clearly defined long term strategy that, as an organisation, Prodware has had in place for a long time. I asked customers to think more about how what they have learnt on the day can be used to improve their own businesses and how, with our help, we can drive them forward to a successful and more profitable future.”
